Audit and inspections
We identify and report on areas of concern within a contract or portfolio of business. On completion of an audit we offer specific advice, aimed at the most effective resolution of problems.
Where a concern is identified, we recommend commercial dialogue to see whether matters can be resolved between the parties on an acceptable basis or we advise on alternative methods of resolution.
Such inspections may relate to issues on claims, claims reserves, terms of coverage, underwriting, outward reinsurance, premiums or the correct performance of the agreement between the parties.
Due Diligence
We inspect and analyse management strategies and procedures, introducing controls and checks, with specific emphasis on a run-off portfolio's reinsurance programmes and reinsurance security.
We report on areas of concern, potential liabilities, including IBNR, and identify abnormal liabilities, which may impact on the reserves required.
